Recruitment of Graduate Students
We are recruiting students for our master’s and doctoral programs. To join the Ito Research Laboratory, you need to apply for the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology at the University of Tokyo, Department of Creative Informatics. We recommend consulting with faculty members before the entrance examination, either at an information session or by scheduling an individual appointment. While prior consultation is mandatory for the doctoral program, it is not required for the master’s program, and not having a consultation will not disadvantage your application. For more details, please refer to the entrance examination information of the department.
University Collaboration
We have experience supervising students from other universities and labs. Undergraduate and graduate students interested in transportation and IT, after consulting with their academic advisors, can participate in research projects at the Ito Research Laboratory.

Our lab emphasizes practical research for societal application and believes in meaningful research through collaboration with companies in related fields.
